Ankara’s shop streets, apartment buildings and small collections have as much to say as its monuments. Choose language and trading memory in Ulus or neighbourhood life in Kavaklıdere; treat a lake visit as a different scale of outing.
Plan by area
Ulus Hali, Suluhan and Çıkrıkçılar form one bazaar focus. Allow for slopes around the citadel and Ulucanlar, and short breaks in Kavaklıdere. Do not squeeze Mogan onto the end of a busy central day.

Kuğulu Park can be a short break and Cin Ali a focused family visit. At Cinnah 19, only exterior observation from the public street is suggested.
